Favourite trope
This was a lot of fun to read. Matthew and Bella are relatable characters and drew me into their story. Teenage Bella had a crush on Matthew, her older brother’s best friend, but she was only a kid.
However, when he returns after injury ends his career he finds that she is all grown up and he falls hard. I loved how she made him work for her attention, plus his persistence is adorable.
This is a cute story, filled with wonderful family, humour, heart, banter, sizzling tension, drama, angst, romance, sweetness, swoons and steam.
This is my favourite of the series.
