Publisher Description

When Charles Darwin finished The Origin of Species, he thought that he had explained every clue, but one. Though his theory could explain many facts, Darwin knew that there was a significant event in the history of life that his theory did not explain. During this event, the “Cambrian explosion,” many animals suddenly appeared in the fossil record without apparent ancestors in earlier layers of rock.

In Darwin’s Doubt, Stephen C. Meyer tells the story of the mystery surrounding this explosion of animal life—a mystery that has intensified, not only because the expected ancestors of these animals have not been found, but because scientists have learned more about what it takes to construct an animal. During the last half century, biologists have come to appreciate the central importance of biological information—stored in DNA and elsewhere in cells—to building animal forms.

Expanding on the compelling case he presented in his last book, Signature in the Cell, Meyer argues that the origin of this information, as well as other mysterious features of the Cambrian event, are best explained by intelligent design, rather than purely undirected evolutionary processes.

PiDoc ,

This is not science, I had to read it.

The author uses scientific words and mixes slight lies with big lies to lure the reader into believing things that HAVE BEEN PROVEN MANY TIMES not to have happened.
He clearly wants the people to think his god is responsible for the many changes and new species throughout the history of life on earth.
But he obviously occulted many scientific facts, he modifies dates/periods to be able to say 'suddenly many new species appear'.
He should know better. He is only a bachelor in science but at least has he finished some degree after that. He knows how science works.
Still, he ignores that. He does not mention any source for what he says (of course, all the scientific articles would contradict him).
As far as I know, he has not published anything else than books. Which is easy since books are not reviewed by peers.
To summarize:
If you are looking for science: wrong book
If you believe in a creator (god): wrong book because you don't need it to believe.
If you want to convince you that a creator exist, they are better books. And I would advise not trying to mix science with that goal. Just be happy to believe, that's perfectly fine.
My conclusion is: bad author using lies to promote his personnal views under the fake cover of science.
This book is just better in a shredder. Or a fire.
