Much better....
The second book, although necessary, almost ended this adventure for me. But this book brought me right back in.
Character development I find the most important thing... EVER. It carries and defines the story. The author does a decent job at it. I have had torn feelings about Seth, but this book fixed it. It gave him the character insight needed that was missing until now. Niall is probably my favorite character though.
I love the important of what is said by the characters and how. However, I dislike how often we are reminded that the fay can’t lie. I get it. I got it in the first book.
I’m excited to see what happens next. War is coming. This book really advanced the story. It’s great!

J.K.Rowling did it with wizards. Stephanie Myers did it with vampires. And Melissa Marr has shone she can do it too...with faeries. This is a great series for mid-teens.
Where is the next book in the series? Apple you promised "Radiant Shadow" today. That's very disappointing.
