A Husband to Order

Set in 1806 Brittany, this historical drama follows Elise, a spirited young woman navigating an unexpected courtship, and Josephine, an aristocrat whose pride fractures her arranged marriage to Colonel Pierre Marceau. After rumors of Pierre’s death, he returns in disguise to test Josephine’s character, setting in motion a tale of mistaken identity, social satire, and emotional reckoning. Blending humor with themes of class, pride, and redemption, the story explores whether love can survive deception and personal transformation.
