The Secrets In The East Wing

When twenty-six-year-old Kiana Taylor accepts a position as a private archivist for reclusive Dallas tech mogul Sheldon King, she expects a quiet life organizing historical ledgers inside a sprawling estate near Lake Dallas. Instead, she steps into a world wrapped in heavy security, guarded secrets, and an ominous prohibition against crossing into the manor's east wing. Drawn by mysterious sounds echoing through the hallways and Sheldon's intense, defensive demeanor, Kiana discovers that the estate hides a devastating past: a thirty-year-old fire, a fabricated arson investigation, and Natalie Fine—a woman kept locked away in a gilded cage to protect a corrupt family legacy.

As Kiana and Sheldon unearth the dark truths buried beneath decades of corporate deceit and familial guilt, they must choose between maintaining a legacy built on lies or tearing down the walls to let the truth burn it all away. Written by Stormy McKnight, The Secrets in the East Wing is a modern, atmospheric Dallas-set gothic romance that reimagines a timeless classic with high-stakes tension, deep sensory depth, and a story of survival and redemption.
