Gamer and businessman match
Very adorable story about the best friend and step sibling that we saw from the previous book. The premise of the other one was way more embarrassing - this one features an online gamer girl and a businessman.
I had a deja vu—and not the good kind.
We all have guilty pleasures, so of course I was optimistic about the story when I read the premise.
As I went on reading, however, it reminded me a lot of so many other books. For example, let’s put Beautiful Disaster and Fifty Shades into a blender, mix them well for 5 seconds, and this is the result. Not even the cheerful description of Cotsco could save it for me.
Not a bad book, but not what I expected.
