Almost
Loved this story. Well developed characters with intriguing story line. Couldn’t put it down. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star is I do not care for books that have no ending. Forcing me to buy the next book to solve the previous cliff hanger leaves me wondering if the author fails to have faith in their own writing abilities. Well written books make me want to read more. Even with a series of books, each should stand on its own with a true finish. Even though I want to know what happens next, I most likely will move on to something else. I resent being brought to a point in a storyline, then abandoned.
Excellent book
Other than the fact that it’s a cliffhanger.
Unlucky Charm
I think the story just rambled on without any direction. I would have liked to be introduced to the Supers at the beginning of the book instead of at the end and have the story be about them. I would have liked to learn more of their purpose, their beginnings, the government conspiracy, etc. That’s the story I would have liked to have read. And Kat (and her stupid costume) Valdez , and Martin added nothing to the story. I gave the book one star because I finished the book (some books i won’t even finish). I kept reading with the hopes there would be a satisfying ending. There was not. Disappointing.
