Julian, Dick, Anne, George, and Timmy the dog are absolutely thrilled to spend their holidays staying in a towering, decommissioned lighthouse perched right on the edge of the jagged, treacherous Demon’s Rocks! They are joined by a quirky boy named Tinker, whose father owns the lighthouse, and his hilarious, light-fingered pet monkey, Mischief. The towering stone lighthouse is a magical place to live, filled with winding spiral staircases, echoing chambers, and breathtaking views of the crashing ocean.

But the treacherous rocks hold a dark history of shipwrecks and stolen gold hidden long ago by a notorious old wrecker. When a menacing descendant of the wrecker, a villainous man named Ebenezer, traps the children and locks the heavy iron doors of the lighthouse from the outside, the Five are completely cut off from the mainland! Plunged into the dark, echoing foundations of the tower and the perilous submarine caves below, the Famous Five must outsmart the ruthless thieves and uncover the lost treasure before the rising tide traps them forever!
