Freaking psychic

This book basically describes me, at times, in ways no-one else around me (mostly my family) never could've throughout my life; and which I thought was merely how I described it to myself, and that no-one else would be able to understand, let alone arrive to independently form me !!!

Stop promoting theories that were disproven decades ago

You can tell this book is written by a couple physicians who went to med school a very long time ago. They quote research that is 40 years old and has repeatedly been disproven (elimination diets fix ADHD symptoms = false as poor foods are bad for everyone). They shamelessly promote products from sponsors as viable options - which in turn allows the reader/listener to confuse their popularity as expertise and purchase them. They sell multiple ideas and theories based on “our experience” - which is about as valid a Milli Vanilli’s Grammy. A basic understanding of how valuable “expert opinions” have in levels of evidence (which you can find at the bottom of the list), while case-studies, systematic reviews…all the way up to RCT’s protect against a myriad of testing errors, biases, product sponsored options and evidence that has been proven false or incorrect. This book provides minimal examples of evidence outside of a few case studies and their own “expert opinions”.

While I can appreciate that human knowledge is ever expanding and solutions to problems tomorrow are going to be different that what we are using today. I was hoping for new and improved scientific facts on how to effectively understand ADHD and/or treat it.

Sadly, if you have fancy letters behind your name, people automatically assume you’re an expert - or worse, if your product is popular, it must be true.
