I liked it overall as I prefer strong women despite their situation and of course Sarah being a healer was a new experience so I enjoyed the information she provided. Philip is an honourable man and does the unthinkable in an effort to save his brother’s life by kidnapping Sarah to heal Jake. It’s stressful and fairly fast-paced throughout the book so you don’t get bored and the poisoning uncovered by Sarah and then her disappearance shortly afterwards keep you reading longer than intended many a night. That’s my take on this book. 😊
