Alex Jesaulenko played 279 games for Carlton/St Kilda between 1967-81, kicking 444 goals. A four-time premiership player, Jesaulenko was renowned for his unique athleticism. The phrase “Jesaulenko, you beauty!”, coined after one magical leap at the MCG in 1970, has become the unofficial motto for all that is good about footy. Jesaulenko was elevated to Legend status in the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
