The Wilder Brothers from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan continue in this emotionally charged enemies to lovers romance.
It took two days for me to know Kendall was the one for me.
And it took two years for me to realize I had to leave in order to protect her.
When I walked away, I told myself it was for the best. But now we work together, and every time weβre in the same room, we end up fighting. If we didnβt, weβd end up naked. Or worseβspilling heartbreaking secrets.
If she knew the truth, sheβd either walk away for good or convince me to take a second chance. The first thing would break me, and the second would break her. I canβt let either of those things happenβ¦

Always the One for Me by Carrie Ann Ryan is the second book in The Wilder Brothers series which is Evan and Kendall's story.
Evan has always regretted walking away from Kendall and breaking her heart. Now with her around all the time after years apart, he wishes there was a way for them to put their past behind them and move forward together again.
Evan and Kendall have had a rough go of things but I love how they were able to move forward and begin to heal properly together. The little bit of background suspense keeps you guessing and glued to the book.
I am enjoying the Wilder brothers and can not wait for what is next.
Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell were amazing as always. As two of my favourite narrators, I knew this was going to be a must listen.
4.5 Maple Leafs for Always the One for Me which contains... mf, workplace, second chance, enemies-to-lovers, and dual first-person point of view.
True love can not be broken!!
Wow!! Carrie Ann Ryan is a master of embracing the pride and pain of the military service members and families. I was immediately consumed by the pain both Evan and Kendall carried within themselves, both from the impacts of military service and personal family dynamics. What was abundantly clear was that there was a tangible, intense chemistry between Kendall and Evan that did not diminished over their time apart. Despite being a growly, private Wilder man, Evanβs ability to push himself past uncomfortable emotions to embrace and show his love to Kendall was extraordinary. This in no way minimizes Kendallβs resilience and strength to open her self up to letting Evan back into her life and having the compassion to understand why he reacted how he did. This book is simply exceptional!!
