Publisher Description
From the moment I laid eyes on Cameron Wilder, I knew I had to have her.
I hired her to fix the image of my company.
Making her off limits.
I could ruin her.
Yet it doesn’t stop me.
I’m an a*****e.
A bastard.
A tyrant.
She’s a saint.
A free spirit.
Innocent.
One touch captivated me.
One kiss wrecked me.
And every argument we have has me ready to crawl on my knees for her.
I feed her lies to keep her safe.
Because my secrets will destroy her.
Break her.
Kill her.
I’m a dangerous man.
To keep her would put her in peril.
But like the devil I am, I can’t let her go.
Customer Reviews
4 1/2 Stars for this suspenseful romance!
This book is a slow burn and then it just started on fire! The push and pull between Bastian and Cameron had me turning the pages into the wee hours of the morning. I just loved Cam ... she didn't take crap from anyone. Even the client she should be trying to impress. And Bastian ... you know he has lots of secrets. You just don't know how dangerous they are ... or is it him who is dangerous. Is he a good guy or a bad guy? And even though there isn't a cliffhanger ... I was left with unanswered questions about some of the other characters in the book. I only hope that they will be getting their own books.
Cam has to prove to her family that she's more than a trophy wife. She has to prove that she can make it in business as a PR consultant. She is forced to take a job in Paris ... a job that no one else in her company wants because of the CEO's brutal reputation. But Cam knows that she can handle it ... after all, her family has given her lots of practice. Bastian is trying to save the family's business reputation after his younger brother gets sent to prison. He hires a PR firm from the US and the spitfire they send hits every one of his nerves. She agrues with him all the time and he believes that she wants to make him mad. Soon the tension takes a turn to lust ... how long before it snaps and they give in to their desires?
I received an early copy courtesy of Grey's Promotions in exchange for a honest review.
