Once this tale of Beauty and the Beast gets going, I couldn’t put it down. Amarrah has nothing left to lose in her life when she offers herself up to the Beast of Bitterburn castle. Njal doesn’t dare hope for anything more than solitude after several lifetimes of being cursed—until Amarrah comes uninvited into his prison and refuses to leave.
Built on actions of respect (which infuse Aguirre’s romances) and vows so romantic Shakespeare should take note, Bitterburn is a gothic romance that will make your blood run cold and scorching hot between the pages.
