I fall deeper in love with the cast of characters
This story has the feeling of a ‘second chance’ even though Hannah and Louis had never been a couple. For Louis, it’s very much about the ‘one that got away’, since his high school crush slipped through his fingers, and he didn’t get the chance at that time to sweep her off her feet. Now, thanks to a lot of misconceptions, the hate is strong between these two and the story also gives off some powerful enemies-to-lovers vibes. I loved this book’s messages about the importance of family and communication, as well as being willing to take a chance on your dreams. With every member of this little hockey family we’re introduced to, I fall deeper in love with the cast of characters. I can’t wait to fall in love with the next ones.
