Not sure what my expectations were regarding this book but it turned out to be a really good story. It was far more focused on the main characters and their relationship than depending on sex and violence to move the story forward. Well written and worth reading. Definitely will be reading more books in this series and definitely checking out more by this author.👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Looks can be deceiving!!
Nessa is a curvy practical woman and completely comfortable in her own skin. So awesome to see the leading lady depicted as a real life down to earth woman, that is as much as a mafia princess could be. But wow, she is also full of spunk and so stubborn. At the beginning I believed Cian was a typical tough Irish mobster but you quickly see his unexpected weak spot for Nessa. LK built up the anticipation and tension between Cian and Nessa to epic levels and it only gets better as their story evolves.
What a great story
I have read quite a few of L.K. Shaw’s books but have to say this one blew me away. The strong characters and wicked writing had me up late trying to get to the next chapter. Kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next. Really looking forward to seeing these characters grow in future books with new players!! Well done L.K.Shaw!!
