Publisher Description
After a traumatic past, Stephanie Rosen has put her demons firmly behind her. Her revamped career as a pet photographer is blossoming and she's finally ready to re-enter the dating world and rediscover her hibernating sensuality. Except there's only one man she'll consider for the role. And the Navy Surface Warfare Officer she has in mind has been on a ship halfway across the world for months on end… until now.
Lieutenant Daniel Murphy has never forgotten his one-night stand with Stephanie. Hell, her abduction was his personal call to serve. He'd do anything to help her out, yet how can he reprise his role as a no-strings-attached lover when his feelings for her are anything but casual? But with only twenty days of leave at his disposal, his personal life is all about the short term. And Stephanie's bid for sensual reawakening is very, very convincing. He just needs to use their steamy private alliance to show her what a formidable team operation they could become… forever.

A good wrap-up for the Murphy brothers
This book wraps up the Murphy brothers’ stories, and gives the last single brother standing his love story. It was fun to see a little more of all the brothers and their female counterparts during a welcome home celebration for Danny and Jack’s wedding. I enjoyed the family dynamics and brotherhood. It was overall a good read. It is noted that Danny and Jack are the brothers most like each other and I thought Danny’s book was most like Jack’s, if you have read them all. When naval officer Danny returned home from a deployment at sea he found Stephanie waiting for him. He had fallen for her five years before in a whirlwind romance right before she went overseas for work. A traumatic event on that trip had far-reaching consequences for both of them and they hadn’t seen each other since she left. Stephanie had done a lot of healing, but had one major hang-up that she wanted Danny’s help with. As they spent time together they both had to face the strength of their feelings. Being the final book in the series, there is carryover from the previous books, however this book reads well as a standalone as well. There are elements included in this story that involve a war zone and kidnapping/hostage experiences. This is an open door romance with some innuendo and occasional, mostly mild with a small amount of moderate, harsh language.
