Media Codes and Conventions

Publisher Description

The codes and conventions of media can be separated into four distinct groups.  Technical, symbolic, written and audio.  These codes can be described as the tools for story telling.

This resource explores the use of media codes and conventions for the production of film.  It explores and gives examples of Camera Shots, Camera Angles and Movement as well as interactive activities for students to analyse film sequences.

Activities utilise BookWidgets (https://www.bookwidgets.com) software for the submission of student results.
