Sweet & sexy fireman/cowboy
Enjoyed my first book by A.J. Pine, it was sweet with a little bit of angst & a whole lot of sexy fireman/cowboy. I enjoyed the slow stop & start to the relationship of Carter & Ivy which usually frustrates me but not this time. The slow growth of the characters was well done & in a sweet but sexy way. Watching them slowly give in to their fears at times was heartbreaking but as their relationship grew stronger I was impressed by Ivy’s strength & determination not to let her fears get the best of her. I also enjoyed the bits of humour that the author created around Ivy, brought a few loud chuckles. Recommend to read. I received this book from the publisher through Net Galley for an honest review.
