Dad's Food For Thought

These devotionals began with love notes from his wife in their children's lunch bags evolved into a daily email and Facebook practice of sharing biblical encouragement. Initially for their children, it evolved to reached over 300 family and friends eagerly awaiting each new "Food for Thought." This book compiles those reflections, written in the early morning, to be a blessing to readers. Here was the focus: "For since the creation of the world His [God] invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse," (Romans 1:20)

This devotional offers a unique perspective on daily life, viewing it through a biblical lens. Each devotional reflects on everyday thoughts and experiences, processing them with scriptural truth. Every devotional quotes a scriptural reference or makes clear biblical references.

  The devotionals are formatted with a title, commentary, and a "Here Is the Point" section that gathers the guiding scriptures. The chapters are grouped into month-long sections for ease of reading, though the devotionals were written as inspired in the moment.

  An index at the back of the book provides a subject-based reference. This edition also includes an Addendum of additional Food for Thought entries beyond the original 365.
