Work, Rest and Play

A collection of photographic work collated over the course of a eighteen months looking at people living in Britain today, some homeless and some with special talents of their own.



A majority of these photographs were hand developed in the darkroom myself, I use an EOS-1N for my analogue shots, a high end camera as I do for my digital an EOS-1D I also have a massive influence from past masters such as Robert Doisneau, Henri Cartier-Bresson and it is very apparent too an influence from Martin Parr.



These past masters have influenced my work, but it is purely coincidental that I found myself in some situations, some special moments captured in time.





This book is an intriguing look at ourselves today.
