Publisher Description
What’s a girl to do when her date is D.O.A?
Angharad ‘Harry’ Russo is just your ordinary twenty-something, with one exception - she’s a witch with an out of the ordinary gift. When her blind date goes sideways and she ends up face to face with a dead body, her life starts to go sideways too.
Harry soon finds herself right in the middle of the mayhem, dealing with Cian Nash, a homicide detective that is as aggravating as he is sexy; the biggest, baddest vampire in town; and a parcel of pesky zombies that keep popping up everywhere. It’s all connected to her date’s unfortunate demise, or is there more to it than meets the eye?
Fans of Chloe Neill and Kim Harrison will not want to miss this great new series.

Fantastic Fantasy
I am not usually drawn to fantasy or sci-fi romance but I picked up this book by a recommendation of a friend. It did not disappoint. Each chapter left me needing to turn the page and continue. The characters all have backstories that help build the plot and when the twist happens you won’t see it coming! A bit more heat would have been nice, but I’m hopeful Harry will turn up the heat in her relationship in the next book! I can’t wait for the next two books in the series.
Great New Series!
This is the first book in a trilogy, but if the rest are as good as this one, I hope it becomes a series. Harry is a fun narrator. Despite the darker elements, the story is funny and light, without being silly or campy. Harry really can hold her own, despite being surrounded by alpha males. There is a bit of sexual tension that hopefully will develop into more in the next book. It's a stand alone story but there is a hook at the end that will leave you wanting more. I practically read it in one sitting, it was that good.
Dead and Kicking
I really enjoyed this book - I like the characters and the story. I love that it isn't predictable - I'm not sure what's going to happen next! I am can't wait for the next one.
