Matt Ferguson had always loved deserted Truro with its mutated, mashed mountains. It was a place where he felt happy.
He was a noble, intelligent, beer drinker with blonde fingers and ugly toenails. His friends saw him as an average, ancient animal. Once, he had even rescued a teeny disabled person from a burning building. That's the sort of man he was.
