Charles Perrault (1628-1703) is a famous French writer. He is regarded as the founder of a new literature genre, the fairy tale. Nowadays Perrault is known for his collection "Stories or Fairy Tales from Past Times with Morals or Mother Goose Tales". The writer had an influence on Louis XIV policy in the sphere of art. He created many literature works apart from fairy tales, but they were forgotten. "Donkeyskin" tells us a story of a princess, whose father desired to marry his own daughter after wife's death. At first she asked the king to bring her unusual presents. It seemed that nobody could fulfill her wish, but the king did. Then the freighted princess decided to run away and dressed up in a donkey skin, so nobody could recognize her. What happed to princess next you will know when read the whole tale.
