I have eleven weeks to finish my senior thesis, forty dollars in my checking account, and zero interest in whatever the guest lecturer they've dropped into my capstone seminar has to say about "market-driven design." I built my portfolio on late nights and ramen, not a trust fund. So when I stand up in front of the whole studio and tell him exactly what's wrong with his company's flagship building, I don't recognize him. I don't know his name.
