Cute prequel!
This was a cute prequel to the next book, You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows. It takes us to when Lee and Shayna are in college. Lee needs a tutor to keep his spot on the football team, and their professor offers him Shayna’s help. The time they spend together studying turns into something more. Unfortunately, Lee is keeping something from Shayna. Her hurt upon finding out is totally justified and my heart broke for her. You could feel Lee’s regret over the situation and knew he wanted to make it right. Their story continues 8 years into the future in the next book and I can’t wait to see what happens!

This is the prequel to the Kingsmen Football series. I love the banter between all the characters and the storyline. This is great start to Lee and Shayna's story and I can't wait for their story to continue in book one of the series.
This story takes place when Lee and Shayna are in college. Lee is the star quarterback for the Kingsmen, but he won't be able to keep his position if he doesn't bring his biology grade up. Shayna is the nerd who has a crush on Lee, so when she's asked to tutor Lee, she agrees. Now all she has to do is stop blushing and untie her tongue. When Lee's teammates see Shayna, they bet him that he can't get in her pants ... if he does, they'll pay for his truck to be repaired. Game on!
