A quirky vampire on a mission to find a missing watch. What could possibly go wrong?
When vampire, Lucy, is finally hired to do some proper private investigating, she uncovers a plot far deeper than she expected...and far more dangerous. If she doesn't figure it out, vampires as a species could end up exposed. That's if she doesn't accidentally reveal them first.
And as if going on a date wasn't stressful enough, Lucy's Noble fiancé has made a reappearance, and he's brought a rather distasteful present with him.

Customer Reviews
Great cozy
Lucinda was a vampire and a PI. She is formally almost engaged to William, really good friends with inventor Derek, received a blind cat as a gift and avoids contact with other vampires when possible. She was given a referral for a new client from William but something feels off. So the mystery begins.
This is a wonderfully written cozy vampire mystery. The characters are interesting, well developed, slightly odd and funny. The storyline like most mysteries is littered with twists, turns and surprises as Lucy tries to navigate both the mystery and her complicated personal life. The narrative is hilarious and the dialogue is too. It is an easy, lighthearted story that brightens your day. It is the first in a series so do not expect the full story to be completed at the end. This book has definitely left me wanting more.
