Foundation Nail

Foundation Nail is a short story of magic inspired by a real Sumerian Foundation Nail. A friend heard that the author was involved in transliterating cuneiform for one of his Sci-Fi books and asked the author to determine whether the Sumerian foundation nail he had inherited was worth anything. It now sits on the author's desk providing moments of inspiration.
