It's not often we have two crazy characters featured as the lead in movies opening the same day, but "Ghost Town" and "Lakeview Terrace" definitely offer a pair of candidates for deep analysis. Regarding "Ghost Town," the less harmful crazy person is the dentist played by Ricky Gervais, a misanthrope by the name of Bertrum Pincus. His craziness is more zany than anything else and in his case, he's driven to it. In "Lakeview Terrace," Samuel L. Jackson's very nasty loon is one seriously angry cop.
