Publisher Description
How many times can you fall in love? So far I’ve fallen in love with Olivia Saldana twice. Once when I was five and I thought she was the most beautiful person I’d ever seen, and now again at twenty-five and I know she’s the most beautiful woman I’ll ever meet.
I didn’t move back to the island of Calusa Key for her, but now that I’ve fallen head over heels (literally off my boat and her dock...on the same day no less) I’m determined to see if my crush has grown up into something more. Possibly the roots I’ve been looking for my whole life.
*Go Away, Darling is a small town, friends-to-lovers, baseball sports, beach romance.

This book was so cute, and fun, and funny
This book was so cute, and fun, and funny. This was more the romantic comedy I thought I was getting with the first in the series. Chris is sweet and charming, devoted to his family, and has pretty much known what he wants from his life since he was a boy: baseball and Olivia Saldana. Olivia’s so focused on being a mom and never repeating her parents’ mistakes that she’s been letting life pass her by. I had a lot of fun reading this book. I think the character I enjoyed the most was Linc. Sure, there are times where he’s more “little adult” than young boy, but it felt very natural for this character. And there are lots of times that he reminds us he’s still just a kid. The connection Linc has with all the adults in this life is something very special and was an added delight to witness. I would have liked to know a little bit more about the Kaine brothers' stalker. That plot line wasn't very much in evidence in this book. I had so much fun getting to know more about the Kaine and Saldana siblings, and I’m hoping we’ll get to know them even better in future books.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
Chris and Olivia!
Chris is a professional pitcher who has recently purchased a home in Calusa Bay when he runs into his new neighbor Olivia, a childhood friend, and the connection between them is stronger than ever. Olivia is a divorced single mother whose focus in her life is her son Linc and ensuring that she provides him the best possible life she can.
Sweet and sexy Chris is determined to overcome Olivia’s caution about getting involved with another professional athlete and show her that he will be there for both her and her son. It was a pleasure to not only watch Chris and Olivia’s relationship unfold but to see the relationship between Chris and Linc develop as well.
