She isn't at all who Cooper expects her to be, and, as he falls for her, his revenge plan falls apart. Their relationship gains momentum naturally, moving from sometimes superficial banter to more personal dialogue that still maintains its playfulness. Mac's growing self-confidence is cheer-worthy, while Cooper's sensitivity thanks to a difficult family life will win readers over. His increased emotional attachment to Mac is endearing, as is his continued support for Mac devoting her energy to her business, over her parents' goals for her. With plenty of steam alongside the youthful romance, this winsome story about following one's heart will especially appeal to hopeless romantics.

Letdown
I bought this book because Elle is an auto-buy for me. I LOVED her Off Campus series. Unfortunately, this book did not live up to the high bar her earlier books set.
The characters in Good Girl Complex are believable and somewhat interesting, but their interactions with one another were a bit disconnected. The character’s introspections had some depth but the actual conversation did little to indicate the connection between people who are supposed to have close bonds. And the steamy parts were so blandly written, they could’ve been found in a Nora Robert’s book. Ugh. Will not be continuing with this series. Such a bummer.
Easy read with a decent story line.
Good story line, easy read and the ending didn’t feel rushed.
