I’m writing this December 25th
I’ve just finished reading this book and it was definitely not what I expected but was also definitely worth spending a lot of time Christmas Eve and Christmas Day reading!!
Zach’s entry into Violet’s story intrigued me, and I couldn’t wait to read his story.
This mystery had me glued to the pages and I confess I would even read a few pages every nighttime bathroom break. I found myself convinced I knew whodunnit a few times but never imagined I could be so wrong so often.
I love Alexa, Ari, Kai and the rest but my favourite character was absolutely Erin! (I can’t WAIT)
I’m now watching surfing videos and learning more of the lingo. I always seem to immerse myself in Elise’s books to the point where I get a little obsessed. I hurt when the characters hurt. I cry when they cry.
If you like mysteries with romance, suspense, twists, turns and quirky characters I guarantee you will have a hard time putting this one down.
And if you want some backstory, make sure you start with “Hard Lines”. Dawson and Violet, Brax and Alexa, along with Zach, of course, will have you firmly caught up in their story!
