Carla Pigeon was thinking about Brad Jones again. Brad was a spiteful banker with ample thighs and ruddy spots.
Carla walked over to the window and reflected on her beautiful surroundings. She had always loved dirty Glasgow with its jealous, jittery jungle. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel afraid.
