Publisher Description
Love at first sight? Fated mates? No way!
Fiercely independent, she's determined to deny their attraction. He’s just as determined to change her mind.
Strong and independent, Chole's never needed anyone, especially a man. The idea of a partner—or a mate—only sounds like a distraction. Besides, she's never met anyone worth the time.
That is until her work as an environmental researcher takes her to Grizzly Ridge and puts her directly in the path of way too sexy, way too intense, Luke Jackson. If her instincts have anything to say about it, he is most definitely worth something.
Chloe’s determined to get him out of her system, something that turns out to be a whole lot easier said than done. But when she makes a discovery that changes everything and could ruin the Jackson brothers and the Ridge, not only is her professionalism put to the test—so is her heart.
Reader note: His to Seduce is a full length stand alone bear shifter novel with no Cliffhangers! This series contains: strong, sassy, curvy women; sexy alpha males; steamy shifters and sizzling sex scenes.

It’s Over Already...?
Wonderful story and vivid descriptions of Montana wilderness combined, make this a great romance. The second in the series, this time it is about Luke and Chloe., destined for one another, in a rather unusual way as for all the Jackson brothers, and they get together following her arrival to investigate environmental concerns. We also get a bit more of Axel and Harper’s story, who were the first book’s main theme.
Not co-opting beliefs or pretending to be anything particularly specific to Indigenous culture and traditions, these characters’ shifting into their animal form is nonetheless similar to shapeshifting. It is thus a novel and interesting twist on the typical romance of a mountain man who meets an irresistible (and taming influence of a) woman.
I found the environmental hiring/consulting process bringing Chloe to Grizzly Ridge a bit too much of a stretch and IMO, it could have easily been much more realistically and thus believably portrayed (since when can random supposed investigators, being unspecified non-governmental, private company parties in particular, have rights of entry/access to private property to look for “environmental concerns”?). As a premise to get us into the focus of the story, it seemed a weak link I dont expect from Elena Aitken’s storytelling. Even so, this fairy tale quality romance worked to engross and entertain this reader.
If you are looking for a romance with a difference, this is it, so read it now and be delighted! It is so enjoyable, it will seem like it is over too soon.
