Thrilling romance
Hot Night by Shannon McKenna is a fierce standalone book. Jampacked with her trademarked intensity and sultry romance, Hot Night is not to be missed.
It features a confident heroine, Abby, who is attempting to pick up the pieces of her career and personal life after a series of romantic setbacks. We meet Abby as she is at the end of a truly terrible bad date—which finishes with her realizing she has locked herself out of her apartment. As she calls a locksmith, her date starts to get physical with her and isn’t listening to Abby’s protestations. When the locksmith arrives—Zan—he steps in and puts the end to the aggression. Abby is grateful and immediately drawn to Zan, but he represents everything she’s left behind: tattoos, danger, and likely to break her heart. But Zan is so much more than that—he’s a natural protector, but is not a pushover. He challenges Abby and makes her questions her newfound dating rules.
These two bounce off each other so well and you can’t help but to root for Zan to get the girl. But as Abby starts to trust Zan, a murderous and psychopath puts a damper on Zan’s courtship…
