Great Mature Love Story
Great story overall! Some of the dialogue was a bit rushed IMO, and sometimes the characters frustrated me with their stubbornness, but that’s a sign of great character development- when you are rooting for them so hard!
I haven’t read the original series that features quite heavily in the book, and I feel like it A) should not have played as heavily into it or B) should have been explained better in this story. There are definitely ways to bring previous storylines into new books in more satisfying ways.
Definitely going to move on to the next in this series though, can’t wait to see what kind of story Remi has!
Where is the steam?
This book was ok. I kept reading in hopes of some steamy romance. Disappointing to say the least. If quick kisses on the forehead and cheek cut it for you then read away.. lack lustre for sure.
