Inviting and riveting
KISMET is the second instalment in Carly Phillips’ contemporary, adult SERENDIPITY erotic, romance series. This is financial investor Trevor Dane, and journalist/single mother Lissa Gardelli’s story line. KISMET can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. KISMET is the re-release of the author’s 2011 SUDDENLY LOVE.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Trevor and Lissa ) KISMET follows the second chance romance and relationship between former high school sweethearts Trevor Dane and Lissa Gardelli. Ten years earlier Trevor Dane walked out of Lissa Gardelli’s life only to return to discover the woman he loved was pregnant with another man’s baby. Fast forward to present day Lissa is working as a journalist, and her an interview with her former love is going to make or break or career but Trevor has no idea he is about to come face to face with his past, the woman whose life he knows nothing about. What ensues is the quick rebuilding romance and relationship between Trevor and Lissa, and the potential fall-out as Trevor struggles with memories from the past, and their life going forward.

Five Stars!! I`m LOVING this series! Even though I have read most of Carly Philips` books, I hadn’t taken the time yet to read some of her earlier novels like the Serendipity Series. Kismet is the second book and as I expected, it was awesome! For me, this second chance story between Lissa and Trevor was heartwarming. I loved the characters and their own personal stories as well as HEA. Again, more hints at the end… can’t wait to read the next book in this series!.
