A quick but very enjoyable read.
Fox is the bouncer at the high-end club Panic and he drives the fancy car, wears the designer suites and has the white pristine home. Everything in his life has to be the best of everything because he was a kid from the bad neighbourhood and had nothing but an abusive father. Lola is the new bartender at Panic who grew up in foster care and saves every penny from her 2 jobs so that she can finish her degree overseas. When Fox and Lola's eyes meet, sparks fly and they begin a sex only affair because Lola is leaving in 2 months.
At first I though that Fox was shallow, but as time went on, I began to love his character. Lola had all kinds of challenges that she overcome and she just came across as so genuine. And then there were the steamy scenes ... HOT! I just wanted them to open their eyes and each give a little so that their relationship could work.
