A Thoroughly Enjoyable Romantic Suspense!
Last Chance is the final book in the Vegas Heat trilogy and, in my opinion, the best of the three! And that's saying something because I LOVED the first two! But there was just something about the chemistry between Valerie and Chase that did it for me! Yes, there IS a slight paranormal tint to the book, but I found it really enhanced the plot and gave it a really interesting twist. But it wasn't only that. I loved the suspense, the unfolding story of the cane that Chase is "hunting", the EXPLOSIVE sexual chemistry between these two, both believing they will NEVER find the one person they were meant to be with! Fate has other ideas, though.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I only have one complaint....it ended! There are a few other characters that I wouldn't mind learning a whole lot more about, Ms. Wilde! (hint, hint)
