Loco Parentis

Two weeks after his father's death, Jeffrey Benson half-heartedly heads off on what he calls a needless adventure - a drive from his home in Baltimore to Columbus, Ohio to go through the old man's apartment before the landlord tosses everything out. The next four days threaten to fill in all the gaping holes in Jeffrey's life as he discovers two things he didn't know he had: a past and a future.
