Publisher Description
What happens when the guy who has been fostering my husky while I'm deployed turns out to be the one-night-stand I ghosted before leaving town?
Prior to shipping out for a military assignment, I had the best sex of my life with a guy whose name I never got.
Now I'm home from my six-month deployment and waking up to an angry phone call from a man claiming to have my escape artist of a dog.
Coincidently, he's the guy who took care of her while I was gone.
Imagine my surprise when I walk a couple of blocks and come face to face with the man who rocked my world and starred in my fantasies for the last one hundred and eighty days of my monotonous life.
When I'm in his arms, I feel cherished.
Something about John Vale feels like home.
I knew it the night we met and kicked myself for not exchanging information.
Now, I have a second chance, but after another amazing night together, he ghosts me—much like I did to him six months ago—and I'm left heartbroken.
I fell faster than I should—I know this—but something tells me he's the one.
Can I blame him for putting on the brakes when every time we're near each other we burn hot and move fast?
And if not, how much time do I give him to realize we're perfect for each other?

Love and Puppies
Cher’s friend Mari convinced her to have one wild night before deploying. When she meets a handsome man and goes home with him, she has to duck out before he wakes. But John Vale hasn’t forgotten her… Two cute dogs, some instantaneous attraction and a second meet-cute that made me giggle, this story was a perfect mix of spicy and sweet. I really enjoy how Kameron Claire writes stories that are happy and real in the perfect balance. A great quick read.
Vale and Char
Vale had an amazing night with a woman he felt connected to from the moment they met at the bar. Unfortunately she left before morning and he’s been pining for her for the past six months. He’s been trying to keep himself busy by doing K9 training and by caring for a dog who’s owner is on deployment. Charisse/ Jessica can’t forget the guy she was with before she left on deployment. Now she’s home and finds her dog gone and she’s face to face with her ONS. This was an entertaining read with likeable characters. Vale was hurt before and doesn’t trust himself not to be falling too quickly for Char. Char is strong and independent but likes to be taken care of too. The dogs added an engaging element to the storyline and created an instant family. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
