Two Difficult Pasts, One Dangerous Present
Sylvie is in trouble, so her brother sends his pal Karden to help out. But the trouble is bigger than first thought, and Sylvie is in real danger. I really liked getting to know Karden and Sylvie - the action was exciting, but the interactions between these two really had things heating up! A great, exciting read.

Part of the Everything is Bigger in Texas series. Sylvie is hanging on by a thread and being stubborn about hanging to what’s left of her family. Her brother is soon getting out of the military and will be home in four months but there’s so much going on now that four months may be too late. When Karden gets a call from his best friend wanting him to go check in and protect his sister he’s not ready for her or the situation. Sure, he’s got the reinforcements but he’s not prepared for how he feels for Sylvie. Sylvie and Karden have great chemistry and are wonderful together. Both come from broken childhoods and have a lot of emotional PTSD. This was a steamy read. Sylvie was hardworking and use to being on her own and looking after herself. Karden was protective and urged Sylvie to get the help she needed. Loved Kiki! I received an arc copy of this book.
Sparks fly
This is another stellar read!! Here we have Sylvie who is desperately trying to hold on to memories of her past which the bar gives her. However people have another opinion on that matter. There’s a crew trying to buy it from her or just take it and her brother sends his army mate to help her out. Who was ready for those sparks !!??.
