Posey is excited when her celebrity crush, Gavin Price, asks her out and takes her on an incredible date. Everything seems perfect until she finds out he is running for Sunrise Bay mayor against her mom and becomes the enemy. Gavin only has eyes for Posey and will do everything he can to make her see that they can be together even though he is running for mayor also.
I love the Greene family and their escapades but I struggled with this book right from the very beginning as I never truly felt a connection between Gavin and Posey. I loved Gavin but was not a huge fan of Posey. As always, we had our meddling grandmothers and a visit to the Northern Lights Retirement Home that gave some good laughs.
I was able to listen to the audio and although I struggled with Ava's version of Gavin, I did enjoy the way Nelson Hobbs and Ava Lucas brought the characters and story to life.
My Famous Frenemy is a small town, celebrity, slow burn, enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, opposites attract romance told in the dual first-person point of view and ends with a happily ever after.

Another great Greene Family story!
I absolutely love the Greene family, each book pulls you in more and more. Such a wonderful โenemies-to-loversโ story that has you swooning and laughing the whole time!
Former child star Gavin Price, wants to move away from the industry and start over. He decides to make his new home in Sunrise Bay. Posey Greene, seems closed off, but she is also very confident in herself and understanding and sweet. Her hardworking, competitive, quick-witted nature is so much fun to see. The compassion and love she has for her family is heartwarming. However, it is her love for her family and her mothers happiness (above all else) that could cause some trouble for her.
These two have a strong connection from the start, there are comfortable with and drawn to each other, however Gavin witholds an important fact from Posey, causing a rift in their budding friendship and romantic relationship. But Gavin is not deterred, he knows what he want and watching how he shows Posey he is here for her and to stay is perfect!
The whole family is a riot, I loved the little side interactions! As always, no story would be complete with Ethel and Doriโs shenanigans, always worth the read for those added bits! The retirement home NEVER disappoints ๐
I was definitely laughing lots! This was was full of slow burn, cute banter, sweet moments and a lot of sexual tension mixed in!
