Dear Reader,
I was awfully excited when I was asked to write a book. I was however, nervous. I was afraid I didn’t have anything important to say. But when I began writing, I realized that although I don’t know a lot about any one thing, I know a little about a whole bunch of things: baking a pie; dancing; curing the common cold; running the Iditarod–it’s all in the book. And I realized I notice things that maybe some people don’t notice (or they don’t notice that they don’t notice). That’s all in the book, too.

Laugh out loud funny!
It has become my custom to read this book every summer at my cottage. I appreciate Ellen Degeneres' humour as a stand-up comedienne and her style translates well in written form. You can hear her voice in your head and know her delivery which enhances the reading experience. I find myself laughing out loud every year! I look forward to reading it again next summer. I give it as gifts to all those who like to laugh, fans of hers or not, this book is hilarious. Love it to death - cannot give it enough stars!
