Gemma Summers is unlucky in love.
She’s known it since third grade, when her first crush blew a spitball into her hair, and a decade-long string of bad dates, boring sex, and abysmal morning-afters has done nothing to improve her prospects.
When a random radio contest lands her courtside tickets to the hottest playoff game of the season, Gemma thinks her luck may finally be on the upswing — at least, until the dreaded jumbotron kiss-cam lands on her and her date, who’s too busy ignoring her to notice…
Thankfully, the sexy stranger sitting next to her is more than willing to step in.
No strings attached.
Or… so she thinks. Turns out, kissing Chase Croft — Boston’s most eligible bachelor — may be enough to convince even a girl who’s given up on love to let down her guard one last time...
NOT YOU IT’S ME is a full-length, comedic contemporary romance about a girl who doesn’t believe in love… and the man who changes her mind. It is the first installment of the internationally bestselling BOSTON LOVE STORY series and can be read as a complete standalone. Due to sexy-times and strong language, it is intended for readers 17 and up.

Such a great read.
Loved this book. Could not put it down!
Strap in for a super fun ride!
First of all I have to start by saying that Julie Johnson is one of my favourite authors and I was lucky enough to enjoy an ARC so I could read this book early! She seriously can do no wrong and has proved that again with Not you It’s Me! As soon as you meet Gemma you fall in love with her quirky lovable babbling self. She is someone that you want to be best friends with and is very relatable. As much as you love Gemma right away, you want to punch Ralph in the face and you immediately can’t wait for him to get lost. Enter Chase (give me a minute to swoon) mmmmm good minute
Hot, mysterious, chivalrous, and alpha….you will soon be swooning too. There is an immediate easy rapport between the two and there is a great game they play to get to know each other.
Once we get to know Chase we come to see that there are reasons for him being mysterious. It is so much fun to see Gemma trying to navigate Chase’s alpha male ways; she is by no means a push over but (like the rest of us) she doesn’t stand a chance against Chase. There are deeper issues that try to keep these two apart and these challenges help build a great relationship between the couple.
Even though there is drama in the book I have to warn you that your cheeks will be hurting from smiling so much as you read. While this book is fun and entertaining, it is still a Julie Johnson book so the level of writing always high. This book is intelligent, witty and engaging. This may be fun but it is by no means fluff. If you like Kristen Ashley books; you will definitely enjoy this book. Julie Johnson never lets us down!
