Publisher Description
Romance is a luxury Zoe Bloom simply cannot afford.
After her childhood was shattered by unspeakable tragedy, Zoe has grown into a woman with walls so high, they're impossible to scale. And that's just how she likes it — especially given her line of work. As an accomplished computer hacker, she's made more than a few enemies in Boston's seedy underworld.
Falling in love would be nothing but a weakness.
When a freelance job brings her into contact with Parker West — heir-apparent to the biggest company in town — she has no interest in getting friendly with the billionaire playboy. But Parker's persistent charm is difficult to ignore... and the more time she spends with him, the more those high walls around her heart threaten to crumble.
With dangerous foes closing in from all sides and the mystery of her tragic past finally coming to light, Zoe will be forced to reevaluate her priorities.
Can a girl who’s spent her life pushing people away finally let herself fall?
ONE GOOD REASON is a comedic contemporary romance about a girl who’s spent her life just trying to survive… and the man who finally teaches her how to live. It is the third installment of the internationally bestselling BOSTON LOVE STORY series and can be read as a complete standalone. Due to some sexy scenes, suspenseful moments, and a foul-mouthed heroine, it is recommended for readers ages 17 and up.

Fantastic!
Be forewarned: your face will get sore from smiling so much if you read Julie Johnson’s latest hit One Good Reason. This is the third book in the Boston series and it just keeps getting better! Julie Johnson is the master of love & laughter.
Tink (aka Zoe) was first introduced in Cross the Line and as soon as the “pixie” with an attitude opened her mouth I knew that she had to have her own book. Sarcastic, funny, genuine and intelligent, she is not the boring heroine that so many books nowadays feature. Julie always creates strong, smart and funny leading ladies that you not only root for but honestly want as friends. Our sassy sprite deserves a sexy, smart and caring guy; enter Parker. Phoebe and Gemma’s brother seemed like just a carefree playboy with a funny streak in Cross the Line but he turns out to be one of the more thoughtful, warm and sweet alpha males around and is now my new book boyfriend (I’m totally calling dibs!). I love his playfulness and innuendos that had me laughing out loud. The banter between Zoe and Parker is priceless and the pet names that they throw out at each other are freaking hilarious.
The usual suspects from the first two books are present including a cameo from Boo (ya!) but we also get to meet Luca who is so hot and alpha that I might have to consider plural marriage for my book boyfriend situation!
Apart from the chemistry that sizzles off the page with these two there is a very interesting plot about corporate greed that not only brings mystery and danger to the story but also illustrates another great feature about Zoe-she may do things her way (sorry Connor!) but she strives to always do the right thing and save innocent people.
Parker tells Zoe that she’s “a huge adventure in a five foot, hundred pound package”, well this book is not only a sexy, humorous adventure but a heart-warming and gratifying read that will leave you smiling from ear to ear.
