4 ½ Stars for this sweet small town romance!
This book could easily be made into a Hallmark movie! It's a sweet story with a lot of steam. I love the premise of the falls being magical ... if the mist hits you under the full moon you will find your true love before the next full moon. I love that Jack and his ex got along and raised their daughter together. And that Rosalie didn't even realize she wanted a forever love The chemistry between Jack and Rosalie is off the charts and I was rooting for their happily-ever-after. This is a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next book.
Jack is the Chief of Police in Gossamer Falls and ever since his divorce several years ago, he's gotten the reputation of a playboy. Rosalie works for a pop princess in the PR department but there are many other jobs that fall on her shoulders. One of those jobs is checking out Gossamer Falls to see if it is a possible place for a music video. While she is there a snow storm hits and she decides to spend the night at Shepherd Inn. When she ventures out to the local bar for a drink she meets the town's hunky police chief and they end up having a one-night stand. Rosalie is back in Gossamer Falls a few weeks later for the video ... and she's not disappointed one little bit. she's excited to see Jack again as she can't stop thinking about him.
