When her brother's best friend Blaze, a world-renowned stuntman, arrives on the island nothing is going smoothly with Kaitlin's new PR business.

After she learns about Blaze's goodwill mission, Kaitlin lends her talents and expertise to his latest project, aware that linking her name with his can only help her career.  Before long, any personal success takes second place to what they are striving to achieve – create a home for a group of young adults with no place to go.

Determined to avoid the limelight after a stunt nearly killed him, Blaze now spends his time working to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.  When he and Kaitlin clash over the best course of action, Blaze pulls back, vowing to never repeat the past where an ambitious woman used him to further her own agenda.  

Kaitlin has been let down before by a smooth-talking, adrenalin seeking risk-taker full of false promises, so is not surprised when, at the first sign of discord, Blaze walks away.  She should have known better than to believe he really cared.  When she learns of the risk he's taking to further their cause, she realizes she has her own fears to conquer; risking her heart. 

Last time Blaze attempted a death-defying stunt, his instincts let him down.   Will the same thing happen again?  Or can he trust his gut and his heart?  Will Kaitlin be there to catch him if he falls?
