The instant number one bestseller
FROM #1 INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING AUTHOR SYLVIA DAY
The final chapter in the global blockbuster Crossfire quintet
Gideon Cross. Falling in love with him was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. It happened instantly. Completely. Irrevocably.
Marrying him was a dream come true. Staying married to him is the fight of my life. Love transforms. Ours is both a refuge from the storm and the most violent of tempests. Two damaged souls entwined as one.
We have bared our deepest, ugliest secrets to one another. Gideon is the mirror that reflects all my flaws … and all the beauty I couldn’t see. He has given me everything. Now, I must prove I can be the rock, the shelter for him that he is for me. Together, we could stand against those who work so viciously to come between us.
But our greatest battle may lie within the very vows that give us strength. Committing to love was only the beginning. Fighting for it will either set us free ... or break us apart.
Heartbreakingly and seductively poignant, One with You is the breathlessly awaited finale to the Crossfire saga, the searing love story that has captivated millions of readers worldwide.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Gideon Cross and Eva Tramell’s romance is one for the ages. And the last book in Sylvia Day’s wildly popular Crossfire series is no less of a rollercoaster ride than the crazy-in-love protagonists’ relationship. Gideon and Eva have eloped, but obviously theirs isn’t a happily-ever-after story. One With You was everything we’d hoped for: a page-turning showcase of Day’s talent for setting a scene and getting into her troubled lovers’ heads.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Prolific erotic romance author Day's fifth Crossfire novel brings the story of Gideon and Eva to a satisfying conclusion. The couple, now wed, are attempting to keep their marriage secret until they can celebrate with their loved ones, but multiple threats by vindictive people from their pasts undermine that effort. Savvy in business and social media, the two lovers cleverly combat their enemies while also managing to nourish their personal relationship through therapy, friends, and steady integration into each other's families. Narrating their stories in alternating chapters, Eva and Gideon relate their explosive physical attraction, their appreciation of how they help each other heal old emotional wounds, and their ever-increasing mutual trust. In one particularly moving scene, when Gideon desperately begs Eva to believe that he did not cheat on her despite what looks like incriminating evidence, her simple "I believe you" offers a stark contrast to his childhood experience of being disbelieved when he reported abuse. Glamorous people, swanky settings, steamy sex, and passionate married love make this a heartwarming, gratifying conclusion to the series.
Customer Reviews
prerogative
It's the author's prerogative if she wishes to stretch out the stories. Many people find even the mundane enjoyable when it is about favourable characters. Time should not matter...
Disappointed
I finished this book in a day, it was drawn out and the ending was poor. To kill her mum was lame but I liked how she saw her in her dreams. We will never know if Cary and Trey get back together. Overall I could have not read this book and wouldn't have missed anything. I hope some of you have enjoyed it. I waited far too long for a bad ending. Truly disappointed
Not so good
Okay i love the books. I love the stories. But waiting so long is not really good for someone who adores the books because at the end you will lose interest because there are so many books out there that we readers can read and love, and in between we will forget that the 5th book of Slyvia Day exists. So dont be surprise if people will forget that 5th book of sylvia day is as good as the rest of the books. Because we consumers can definitely lost interest.
