Another Fantastic Story
I don’t know why it took me so long to read Pen Pal. Perhaps it was the blurb. It lead me to believe that it was an ex convict and lonely widow with spice. Oh boy how wrong was I?
From the start I had a sinking suspicion that something far more intriguing was about to happen and once Fiona showed up I knew that I was in for so much more.
The character development, the questions it brought to mind and the lightbulb moments has made this story my second favourite book I’ve read this year. Heck, it will be a book I continue to think of for a long time to come and will likely be a reread.
Please Dear Readers, do not let the cover photo or the blurb stop you from reading this amazing book. If the saying don’t judge a book by its cover had a physical embodiment, it is Pen Pal. Do yourself a favour and read this book.
Another fantastic story by one of my favourite authors, J. T. Geissinger and another night of crying myself to sleep. (But don’t worry, even though it may not have a conventional HEA, it does have a happy ending. IMHO anyway.)
